VIN DE PAYS DES COTEAUX DE MURVIEL WHITE

Grape varieties : Viognier.
Yield : 30 hl/Ha.
Soil type : Ancient higher terraces of the upper valley of the Taurou.
Crop System : Ground tilled, compost added; planned disease and pest management; grapes thinned. Harvested when fully ripe.
Vinification : Fermentation in oak barrels.
Cellar work : Matured in oak casks for six months; the lees stirred regularly.
Wine-tasting
vintage 2003 :
A pale yellow colour with a bouquet of apricots, grapefruit and honey; delicate, well-integrated hint of oak; intense and complex flavour leaving a very fresh taste on the palate.
Worth laying down for two to three years.
Delicious as apéritif and to bring out the best in delicate fish and shellfish dishes
